Pre-registration must be done before traveling to Côte d'Ivoire. It can be requested upon boarding and will be converted to an e-Visa upon arrival in Abidjan. Please also consult the current health constraints.

We advise you to apply for a visa online at least 5 days before your departure for Côte d'Ivoire. Indeed, some files go to advanced analysis, sometimes extending the time.

Yes, minors must also have their visa. You can group their application in the same form. The fee and the documents to be provided are the same as for an adult.

If the minor leaves French territory without a legal guardian, he or she must be in possession of an AST(authorisation to leave the country). This document can be requested online, and must be completed by one of the holders of parental authority. When travelling, this form must be accompanied by a copy of the identity document of the legal guardian.

An e-Visa Côte d'Ivoire allows you to stay up to 90 days in the country. In case of a longer stay, turn to a classic visa in the passport. You can apply for this e-Visa 3 times in a calendar year.

Please note that the 90 days are counted from the date of issue of the e-Visa, not from the moment of entry into the country as may be the case for theCape Verde e-Visa.

There is no time limit to respect between two trips to Côte d'Ivoire. The frequency and duration of your stay should not lead you to believe that you are trying to circumvent the rules and establish yourself indirectly and durably in the country. This notion is at the discretion of the Ivorian immigration authorities. It is also prohibited to work in Côte d'Ivoire with this electronic visa.

The e-Visa is an online pre-registration process. Once you arrive at Abidjan airport, and based on the information in the e-Visa, a biometric visa is issued to you in the passport by taking your fingerprints and a photo of you.
